Pete Reid’s 1996 Video of Austin Goes Viral; Interviewed on KVUE News

shaky home video of Austin shot in June of 1996 by Pete Reid while studying at UT Law School recently tallied more than 25,000 views in a week and was featured all over localmedia. The 20-year-old video was said to have “opened a wormhole to an Austin in the flush of youth”. It features a young, goateed Pete Reid driving from the UT campus down Guadalupe to the river, all the while describing an Austin that many remember with fondness. The Foundation works to improve public awareness of the legal system, the administration of justice, and the delivery of legal services. Pete Reid was also recently elected Chair-Elect of the Entertainment and Sports Law Section of the Austin Bar Association. His tenure as Chair will commence in June 2017.

Pete Reid is now the singer in a band that claim to be ‘South Austin’s greatest ever Oasis tribute band’. That they are also South Austin’s only Oasis tribute band is irrelevant. Their next gig is rumored to be on Dec 31st at Hotel Vegas. Throughout 2016, Pete Reid has also been writing and publishing a chapter a week on his blog Dear Scotland from his semi-autobiographical novel ‘UnReidable‘.
